Your gift will bless the people we serve with safe, sustainable water access, hygiene and sanitation education, and Christian witness programs to demonstrate the living water—the gospel of Jesus Christ. Gifts offered here are used at the discretion of Living Water International.
Together as a community of Short-Term Trip Alumni, we'll raise $80,000 for urgently needed equipment in Nicaragua. Every dollar you and your alumni give on this page will be matched dollar-for-dollar for the next 90 days — up to $40,000 — thanks to the amazing generosity of two fellow trip participants.
These participants believe in our strategic shift toward deeper development in Nicaragua and want to see this need met by the alumni community that loves this staff best — that's you!
With your support, teams in Nicaragua will be able to continue serving despite difficult terrain, continue facilitating trips like the one that changed your heart, while also continuing to pilot innovative sustainable programs that will last long after the last trip participant heads home.
Please join together to help us restore even more communities through the purchase of this equipment. We'll soon be able to show everyone who contributes the impact you've affected in Nicaragua through photos of our staff in action — thanks to you!
Living Water International exists to demonstrate the love of God by helping communities acquire desperately needed clean water, and to experience "living water"—the gospel of Jesus Christ—which alone satisfies the deepest thirst.
In 1990 we set out to help the church in North America be the hands and feet of Jesus by serving the poorest of the poor. More than a billion people in the world live on less than a dollar a day. At least 663 million people lack access to safe drinking water. Our work empowers communities through hygiene and sanitation education and sustainability strategies to keep water flowing, for life, in Jesus' name.
Responsible development means funding the whole program for the whole person. Gifts offered here go towards safe, sustainable water access, hygiene and sanitation education, and Christian witness programs in Nicaragua.
