Dear Blogger: Donate a Water Fact Post

When you tell your friends about the water crisis, your message has more impact than ours ever could. Are you a blogger? Help us spread the word for those without clean water by "donating" a blog post. Publish a post using our prompt below, then be sure to share your post's URL with us in the comments section!

At least 748 million people live without access to an improved water source. Nearly a billion. Though that number is decreasing—praise God!—it's still HUGE. And sometimes the most overwhelming facts are easiest to ignore.

So here's your challenge. Make "748 million" personal. Do a little math and equate that number to something meaningful to you. Then write a quick post about the correlation you discover.

Just by donating a blog post—hey, it's free!—you'll be showing your friends that the water crisis is personal to you, and encouraging them that together we can make a measurable difference in the lives of those still without water.

Thanks for using your talent to speak up for the oppressed, in Jesus' name. Check back to see what others in our writing community create!
