My wife went on a drilling trip four years ago, and she told me that I had to go at some point. It took me four years to make it work, but I'm so glad I did it. This was an opportunity where my faith and my humanitarian passions collided, and I had to go!
I enjoyed getting to know the drilling and hygiene team at Agua Viva, and the kids in the local community.
Persevering through setbacks challenged me, but I learned not to be discouraged, but rather to be patient and trust God.
I will never forget the old woman who told me that this well brought her grandchildren security.
