Now, more than ever, communities need access to safe drinking water.
This crisis has delayed our work for months and has had a significant financial impact on our Nicaragua program. So far, we’ve had to cancel or redirect 30 Living Water Trips teams. Without the funds raised by these trip participants, we haven’t been able to reach the communities we planned to help before the unrest began, leaving people waiting even longer for safe drinking water.
The good news is that we believe our staff can safely resume work in Tola, our WASH (water access, sanitation, and hygiene) Program Area, but we’ll need your help to keep our program going. With your support, we can share safe water and partner with local churches to provide emotional and spiritual support in hurting communities.
The people of Nicaragua need you to act now. Please help us reach these communities with water and the hope of the gospel message!
