Now, more than ever, communities will need access to safe, clean water.

For the past three months, the political crisis has delayed our work and impact in Nicaragua.

Urgent Need

We've had to cancel or redirect 30 Living Water Trips teams so far. These volunteer trips are vital to advancing our mission to share safe water and God's love with thirsty communities and spreading the impact of our work here in the United States. Many of you have experienced a life changing Living Water Trip in Central America and know first-hand the impact and blessing of working alongside our team, church, and community members. You've experienced the frustration of delayed drilling and broken pipes, and the jubilation of a completed well. The blessings are long lasting those we serve, but also those who serve.

Without this program, we haven't been able to reach the 30 communities we planned to help before the unrest began, leaving thirsty people waiting even longer for safe drinking water. It is no longer safe for volunteers to travel across these borders, so we need your help to support our work and the people of Nicaragua.

We believe our staff can safely resume work in our WASH (water access, sanitation, hygiene) Program Area in Tola in the southern Rivas district. We have the opportunity to not only share desperately needed safe water with thirsty Nicaraguans but also partner with the local church to provide emotional and spiritual support in hurting communities, now more than ever.

This vision won't be possible without your generosity. The people of Nicaragua need you to act now. Please help us reach these thirsty communities with water and the gospel message!

We are carefully monitoring the situation in country, and we will continue to provide update about this ongoing crisis.
