Join The Team!

TEAM LIVING WATER

Dedicate your race to raising awareness and funds for communities without safe water. You can join Team Living Water for events of any size, from a full marathon to a 5K walk. Members of Team Living Water are running, biking, swimming, and even climbing for clean water! Join the team and we’ll provide you with a personal fundraising webpage to make it easy for your friends and family to support you by donating online. The money you raise will help support Living Water International’s work with communities around the world.

Represent Team Living Water at these or other marathon events near you. Individuals who set a fundraising goal of $500 or more will receive a free Team Living Water running shirt. It’s a functional conversation piece and it looks great on the course!

Fundraising

Whatever your event, we want to make it as easy as possible for you to raise funds while you train for your event. Here are some tools to help, but feel free to be creative about how you raise awareness and funds for the communities you are helping! Create your personal fundraising webpage For “Team Events” listed above, please click on your event name to create a fundraising page. If your event isn’t listed, click here to create your page, so you can start emailing your friends. It’s an easy way to ask people to join you in your effort. Don’t be afraid to email often! Many people intend to give, and just need a reminder. Collect donations by check, and update your fundraising webpage You can collect checks made out to Living Water International, mail them in, and then update the offline donation total on your fundraising webpage. Please note that we are unable to update your page when someone donates by check on your behalf. You must collect the checks, make note of the total, and then update your webpage. Here’s how:

1. Go to “Your Account” at the top of This Page
2. Log in with your email address and password
3. Click on the “Your Fundraising Pages” tab
4. Click the Update link under “raised offline to date”
5. Scroll to the bottom and enter the total amount raised offline
6. Click “Save and continue”
