Schools for Schools
| BASIC PROBLEMS. | SIMPLE SOLUTIONS. | ||
| LACK OF TIME: Many children spend all day helping their parents fetch water instead of going to school. |
WATER SECURITY: Your donation funds safe water for a child and her entire family... right on the school grounds. |
||
| CHRONIC DISEASE: Dirty water causes debilitating diseases like cholera, typhoid, and dysentery. |
HYGIENE EDUCATION: We teach good hygiene. Clean water combined with handwashing can eliminate 70% of disease. |
||
SCHOOLS FOR SCHOOLS is an opportunity for passionate and talented students to raise awareness and funds for safe water projects at schools in developing nations.
The Goal
The first goal of the Schools for Schools campaign was to provide safe water for 50 schools in the Ruhaama County of Uganda. We believed young students would change the world and we were right.

Before long the program had spread to other parts of the world, and we hope more school will continue to get involved.
How it works
We set out to engage 50-75 US schools to raise $600,000 to provide safe water for 50 schools in the Ruhaama County of Uganda to serve 20,000 students. It went great! Work will continue in Ruhaama trough 2011, even as it also spreads to other countries! Contact us to discuss whether your school will have more fun transforming lives in Uganda, or another country.
Based on their size and resources, schools will be given an opportunity to become a:
|

Schools to Schools is so powerful it even earned praises from the first lady of Uganda! Join students across the nation who are changing the lives of children, their families and their communities... for this generation and generations to come.
