On Mission to Haiti

I grew up in a home where we hosted missionaries that were visiting our church, and I was always fascinated by their stories.  This instilled in me a desire to do missions work myself.

I enjoyed getting to know the Living Water staff during the week we spent in Cap-Haïtien.  We had many good times laughing, and sharing our stories.  Their love for their people and their passion to provide clean water was obvious and inspiring.

I realized that this trip was much more about what God wants to do in my heart than what I could do for the people of Haiti.  I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to be a part of what God is doing through Living Water International.

I will never forget the excitement of the children who came each day to learn and play with us, the water coming out the of the well we drilled for the first time, the joy from the community when we fixed a well that had been broken, the love extended to us from the Living Water staff, and the incredible need we saw everywhere we went.
