Africa Assistance Plan (AAP) is a beacon of hope in Ghana, a faith-based non-governmental organization registered both locally and internationally. With over 30 years of dedication, AAP has been working tirelessly across the length and breadth of Ghana, striving to create better and healthier living conditions for communities. Our focus areas include Water and Sanitation, Church and Community Empowerment, and Children and Youth Empowerment Programs. Rooted in Christian principles, AAP is committed to holistic development, empowering churches and communities to break the cycle of poverty and bring about lasting change.

AAP is committed to ensuring every Ghanaian has access to safe, reliable drinking water. From installing innovative water systems to rehabilitating existing points, we’re making clean water a reality. Our approach includes sustainable solutions like mechanized systems, rehabilitation efforts, and the expansion of wells into pipe systems. Through partnerships and determination, we’re making safe water accessible to all.
Good health starts with proper sanitation and hygiene. AAP’s Hygiene and Sanitation initiatives focus on behavior change. Through sensitization and advocacy, we’re promoting safe hygiene practices, including disease prevention, proper waste disposal, and handwashing. By addressing sanitation challenges, we’re ensuring healthier communities and brighter futures for all.
Empowering the church and communities lies at the heart of AAP’s mission. We believe that thriving churches drive holistic development. Our Church and Community Empowerment program equips churches and associations to actively participate in WASH service provision and management. Through partnerships and training, we’re uniting churches and communities for a better tomorrow.
AAP’s impact goes beyond physical transformation – it extends to spiritual growth. Our Gospel Proclamation efforts integrate faith with development. By collaborating with churches and communities, we’re sharing the message of hope and salvation. Through film shows, community outreaches, and gospel tract distribution, we’re touching hearts and souls, spreading the message of Christ’s love.
