Advent Conspiracy seeks to inspire churches, families, and individuals to avoid being consumed by commercialism at Christmas. It all started with five churches in 2006, and has grown into a movement. Change your spending habits at Christmas, avoid commercialism, and give relationally—the way Christ modeled for us through his gift of himself. Take the money you save and give the gift of clean water to desperate communities.

Spilling Hope is an initiative committed to a new way of living in the world. During the 50 days following Easter, people challenge one another to live simply and utilize resources differently by freeing up at least $1 a day. At the end of 50 days people give generously out of the savings in order to bring change and hope to the lives of others. Live simply. Give generously. Change lives.

LWI partners with the ONE Campaign to raise public awareness about the issues of global poverty, hunger, disease, and efforts to fight such problems in the world’s poorest countries. Together we are calling for the allocation of more funding within the U.S. budget for basic needs like health, education, clean water, and food. We believe that this would transform the futures and hopes of an entire generation in the world’s poorest countries.
