RWANDA - You may have read and heard stories of villages, hospitals, schools, and orphanages where water projects have been completed. You have probably seen photos of what life is like before and after communities have clean water to drink. Have you ever wondered what it looks like to the team that does the work?

Our good friend Esther Havens recently spent some time with the LWI team in Rwanda, and her beautiful photography gives us an idea of what implementing a typical water project is like—from preparation, to drilling the well, installing the pump, and celebrating with the community as life-giving clean water flows for the first time.

Take a few minutes to experience this story—click on the first photo, then use the “next” and “prev” buttons to navigate.
